Savitribai Phule: A Legacy of Courage & Education

Savitribai Phule (3 January 1831 – 10 March 1897) was India’s first female teacher, a social reformer, and one of the earliest feminists of the nation. At a time when education for women was prohibited, she defied social barriers and dedicated her life to women’s education, social justice, and equality.
