Introduction
Developed India is a vision of the Indian Government that aims to bring India into the list of developed countries by 2047. Because by 2047, India will complete 100 Year of independence. Its main objective is to make every society prosperous. Without taking every section along, it is not possible to achieve this goal. Before understanding women participation, we need to understand a little about Vikshit Bharat. So, lets talk a little about developed India. It has been divided into four main parts by the Government which are its strong pillars- 1. Youth 2. Poor Section 3. Women 4. Food Giver (Farmer). Government of Inida GYAN framework (Garib, Yuva, Annadata, and Nari) identifies “Nari” (Women).
Vikshit Bharat 2047 Objective
India has to be developed by ensuring everyone’s participation, in which the major announcements of the Government of India are as follows.
- Income Tax Correction-The Government of India has increased the personal income tax exemption limit from `8 lakh to `12 lakh. This decision will encourage individuals living in India to spend more on household needs, as well as to increase their savings and investments. These developments will help accelerate economic growth, which is a significant step toward making India a developed nation. This Government of India will continue to revise income tax policies from time to time while keeping the interests of every citizen in mind.
- Agriculture Sector-To increase agricultural productivity, the government of India is giving priority to high-yielding crops, along with this, farmers are being provided loans at low interest rates. Crop insurance is also being offered to protect farmers against losses. In Addition, the quality of farmers land is tested to assess the presence of essential minerals required for higher crop yields. The necessary nutrients and minerals are them added to the fields to enhance agricultural output.
- MSME and Small Startup Support-Promoting micro, small and medium enterprises and startups by providing affordable loans and through improved loans guarantee Schemes with encourage entrepreneurship and contribute to economic growth.

Vikshit Bharat 2047 more focus women professionals as crucial drives of National growth.
Women professional- women work as leaders -she comes out from house to corporate. Its reduced gender-based issues and reduced to stereotype and generational inequality. She decreases the gender gap in economic growth. New women are more innovative and decision making. This vision is the paradigm shift from “Women’s Development” to “Women-Led Development,” recognizing that the participation of women is not just a social imperative but it is a core economic power.
Women in Governance
Now a day, women are also participating in Governance role such as Gram Panchayats, District Panchayats, Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Town Councils and various committees. Women are leading these committees from the front and play crucial role in decision making. These women increase the family income also. For example, our President of India is also a woman. All knows about the president. The landmark legislation reserving 33% seats for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies ensures that women are the architects of the laws that govern them.
Women Professional in Health Care Sector
Women have always been seen as domestic workers and their health has not been given any special attention by the family. Under the National Health Mission, The Government of India has accelerated the development and empowerment of women. Today we can see women increasingly taking leading roles in the healthcare sector, such as doctor, nurses, Asha workers and Anganwadi workers. All of them are frontline community health workers, who play a vital role in delivering healthcare services to the grass roots level.
Veterinarians are important part of enhancing livestock productivity ensuring food security and quality, controlling zoonotic disease under One Health Mission, empowering rural livelihoods and animal welfare. Role of Lady Veterinarians in the livestock sector is silent contributor. 70% of the workforce in animal husbandry sector are women. Women together are playing an important role in developing India.
Women Leadership
Pushing boundaries gender bias has always been a scourge in our society, and women have now left it for behind. Today, women are progressing shoulder to shoulder with men in all fields. Worker population Ratio for men stands at 76.3% while for women, it is only 40.3% and now it has been increasing day by day. If we look at all countries, women leaders were rare in the past. But today, in many countries, women hold high positions and represent the nation. In the past half-century, more than 50 women have served as PM or President of their countries. Women have been the CEO, GM, Judges and leaders in International Organizations and play a crucial role in decision making and planning.
Indian’s presidency of the G20 has focused on women’s leadership and women’s empowerment.
- A network is being created for the society of women which will provide security to women in private and public places.
- For this, women are being uplifted through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna etc. these initiatives are improving women’s health and are being closely monitored.
Women are economic driver in rural and livestock sector. In livestock sector women are primary part to increase happy index. In 2047, women participation is shifting from labour-intensive roles to entrepreneurial leadership.
Dairy and poultry sector- By forming SHGs at the village level, women are not only providing economic benefits to their families by rearing chickens, goats and cows but are also contributing to the economy of their country and boosting it. Increasing milk production, egg production and meat production etc.
Economic Inclusion-The Government of India is providing 50% subsidy to women under the National Livestock Mission. This subsidy is being given to all animals like cows, chickens, and goats.

A high level of initiative is being taken by women in Scientific & Clinical Leadership. Nowadays the ratio of women to men in all veterinary colleges and field veterinary is around 50%.
One Health Programme
Healthy population is one of the major factors in developed India 2047. It is achieving by prevention of zoonotic diseases. Like Rabies, Avian Influenza, Brucellosis etc. Food serves to people like milk, meat, egg, meat byproduct, milk byproduct are free from pathogen as well as residual antibiotics. Regularly monitoring the animal health that helps the achieving the goal. Disease surveillance of animal is major part of the healthy population. Lady Veterinary doctors are using AI, ETT, SSS improving the indigenous breed and increase the milk quantity as well as quality. Lady Vet are doing research and transfer of technology lab to field.
Conclusion
Women are the backbone of India’s economy; it comes from villages to corporate leadership. Jawahar Lal Nehru said “The status of a nation can be judged by the condition of its women’s” So Nari Shakti always first.
