African Pig Fever is Coming :Be Careful!

 

This is the disease that has been seen in pigs in many places recently. This virus-oriented disease causes intense internal bleeding in pigs and causes death painful. The disease found in Kenya, Africa in 2017, has the death toll in this disease which affects 90% of pigs and bears. Now spreading in pigs of all ages in many countries including India. This disease without even a good vaccine is causing death in pigs.

What is the reason?

Asfa virus belongs to DNA is the reason for this disease. It affects wild pig, pet pig and all animals of pig species plus bears. This virus does not bend to acidity and alkaline and general pesticides. This virus can survive for a few weeks even in pork meat. The carrier of this disease is the soft oil belonging to the category of Ornithodorus Mobuta in wildlife.

But the satisfying thing is that this disease does not affect humans.

The way the disease spreads

This disease spreads by two ways. The first one is from wild pigs. The state pigs can get disease through wools. Once the body of porks or bears, the virus can grow in large quantities and then affect other pigs in direct contact. The salary of a disease-blood, urine etc of a pig can also work as a disease. They are feeding thrown pork and meat products without using for the speedy growth of pigs and these also act as a disease.

Symptoms

This virus that joins the pigs body through mouth or nose can cause disease in 2-3 days. High fever initially, stopping food, inability to walk and collapse are the symptoms. A pig can die as a severe bleeding across the body in the form of a very severe disease. The remaining pigs of the disease can turn reddish and then bleeding in the nose and asses for the entire body red. Abortion can be found in severe vomiting, pedestrian and pregnant pigs. Surviving pigs can be found with restlessness, swollen joints and lung infections.

Signs of post-partum test

Signs of bleeding, bleeding under the skin, inflammation of dairy, shadows of blood, swollen slaves, inflammated lungs, bleeding body can be seen. These are also helpful in diagnosis.

Method of diagnosis

Circle of the disease, symptoms and postpartum test are all helpful in detecting the disease. Elisa and pcr sample being able to detect this disease. Other diseases such as salmonellosis and ricipilus diseases should be taken into consideration when this disease is detected.

Treatment

There is no adequate treatment and no vaccine for this virus based disease. Research has been conducted in many countries about this. Symptoms-related to anti-life, preventing bleeding drugs and inferiorities can be given.

Prevention

Preventing disease is the best way right now. Isolating sick pigs, preventing contact with wildlife, isolating them completely if newly bought pigs, no use of any pig based food, cleaning the pig house completely with microdisinator, dead Proper disposal of pigs, no hunting of wild pigs, the ways to lead an affected pig’s happiness and death.
