All  India  Essay Writing Competition on the Occasion of World Veterinary Day 2021

 THEME

                                               “VETERINARIAN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS”

 

 

Amidst the current outbreak of COVID-19, community leaders nationwide are being asked to determine what services should remain available to community residents during shelter-in-place restrictions or lockdowns.  Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, veterinary practices have consistently been designated an essential healthcare business.

COVID-19 has definitely changed our world for ever. But where is the new world headed? How has COVID-19 changed the way we live and work? What will be India’s place in the emerging post-pandemic world? How can India make itself stronger and script a bigger role to play in the international community?

On the occasion of World Veterinary  Day 2021, Pashudhan Praharee is planning to celebrate and commemorate this day in a unique way than what we used to do in previous years. With the emergence of COVID 19 pandemic, every national and international conferences and events are being held online and we too are bound to celebrate this year’s World Veterinary Day , which falls on April 24, online. Keeping this year’s theme ‘Veterinary Response to Covid19 crisis Pashudhan Praharee is going to organize following different programs with the aim of bolstering knowledge , creating public awareness and making people realize that to gain optimal health outcomes one should recognize the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment.

Summarise your ideas in a 3000-word essay written in English language. Submit your entries to pashudhanpraharee@gmail.com by 20th April  2021.

 

The emails should be titled ‘Veterinarian Response to covid19’ crisis.

 

Eligibility: The competition is open to all veterinarians globally .

General guidelines:
• The essay should be written in English/Hindi language.
• The essay must be author’s own work and should attest it by inserting a statement followed by his/her name.
• The essay should follow a standard academic essay structure and format including an introduction, body of supporting arguments and a conclusion.
• The essay can be developed based on student’s own experience, online research, and literature review.
• The essay will be disqualified for the competition if any evidence of plagiarism is established. The committee is strict against plagiarism and advise each candidate to avoid engaging in such plagiarism.
• The essay should not exceed 3000 words.
• The essay should have author’s name, his mailing address and the his permanent address.
• We only accept word file with font Times New Roman and font size 12 for English & for Hindi the font is Mangal or Krutidev010 and should be submitted electronically via email at  pashudhanpraharee@gmail.com. The deadline for submission is April 20th
• Only one essay can be submitted per contestant.
• The results will be announced by  22nd April • The First 10  winner of the essay competition will be felicitated with  Late Srimati Rajbanshi Devi Memorial Award 2021. in which  winners would be given Momentos & award certificate via post &  all participants will get e-certificates.
