*General guidelines for Veterinarians working at hospitals to fight against of COVID 19:*

1. Use protective equipment/clothing like Apron, latex rubber gloves, mask, sunglasses, shoes etc.

2. Keep cleanness and sterilize working table/ equipment routinely.

3. Maintain at least 1 meter distance while talking with any animal owners.

4. Keep water, soap, hand sanitizers etc at institution.

5. Avoid shake hands with owners or any one else.

6. Wash your hands with soap/sanitizer after handling every case.

7. Avoid home visits unless in emergency conditions like distocia etc.

8. Provide emergency services only upto 31/03/2020 to avoid gatherings by animal owners/livestock owners.

9. Routine services including Artificial Insemination etc., should be avoided depending upon priority duly assessing the situation.

10. If possible take help locally available Voluntary Veterinary workers or Para Veterinary Professionals etc to avoid travelling long distances.

11. Please don’t conduct animal health camps/deworming camps/fertility camps etc., to avoid huge gatherings.

12. Wash your hands and feet after reaching home. If possible take shower.

13. Keep your treatment kits, equipment, clothing, medicines etc., away from the family your members.

14. Personal Hygiene and cleaness should be maintained at Veterinary hospital.

15. Please be updated about recent developments and information from time to time.
